Yes! The Sourceity only sells 100% authentic handbags as each bag goes through an extensive dual step authentication process. This way, there are multiple people that asses and confirm the authenticity of your bag before it gets to you. Firstly, often based on where we source, our bags have been appraised by professionals prior to us purchasing them. From there, we then authenticate again in house. Our process takes into account stitching, seams, hardware, heat codes, stamping, serial numbers, etc. to determine our authenticity guarantee. For the final step of authentication, we use a third party service that features a group of professionals from around the world that specialize in their own Brand. They use various resources, high tech tools and have the inside industry knowledge needed in order to finalize our authenticity process.
In terms of designer sourcing, think of it like “seeking”. You reach out to us with a specific bag that you’re looking for and we do all the legwork to find it for you at the best possible price. We always do our best to work within your budget. If we’re not sourcing for people individually, we’re busy curating a collection of bags for you to choose from that are listed on our site.
We source our products from various places including auctions, consignment stores, vendors and online third-party platforms.
All bags are priced to sell based on condition, demand, rarity, etc. We pride ourselves on offering competitive prices on all of our pieces to make them attainable for people with a wide range of budgets.
Given the nature of sourcing inventory and that products listed on our site are one of one, all items are final sale. If for some reason you’re unhappy with your purchase, please contact us at customerservice@thesourceity.com and we’ll do our best to assist with your matter.
We’re based out of Vancouver, Canada; but aside from a few very remote locations, we ship worldwide. All shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Customers are responsible for any customs fees that may be incurred.
